Terms of service
By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Your contract is with Booey & Bros LLC, doing business as Custom Golf Balls Now. If you cannot legally enter into a contract, a parent or legal guardian must place the order.
1. Content you submit
You keep ownership of your photos, text, and designs. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, edit, reproduce, and share them with service providers only as needed to prepare, print, deliver, and support your order.
Only submit content you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for obtaining any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other rights needed for professional photographs, logos, characters, names, and people shown in the content. Permission for one kind of right does not necessarily cover another. We review submitted designs before printing for content that appears to violate these rules, but our review cannot verify ownership or consent. We may request proof of permission, refuse or cancel an order, and refund the amount paid. To the extent allowed by law, you are responsible for claims arising from content you supplied.
Do not upload content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, or sexually explicit.
2. Orders, pricing, and previews
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change before an order is placed. If a price or product description is clearly incorrect, we may cancel the affected order and refund the amount paid. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout before payment. By submitting an order, you confirm that you reviewed the personalization details and on-screen preview. The preview is a digital representation; displays and printing processes can produce small differences in color, ink density, and placement. Nothing in these terms reduces rights you may have for defective or nonconforming goods.
3. Our intellectual property
Our name, logo, site design, illustrations, and original copy belong to us or our licensors. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
4. Limits permitted by law
Nothing in these terms limits a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed or for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. For other claims arising from an order, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for that order.
5. Problems and disputes
California law governs these terms, without taking away any consumer protection that applies where you live. Contact us first if there is a problem with an order so we can try to resolve it.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order. We identify updates by changing the date at the top of this page.
Copyright concerns
Copyright notices and counter-notices must be sent to our registered Designated Copyright Agent, Copyright Agent, Booey & Bros LLC, at [email protected]. Please review the complete Copyright & DMCA Policy before sending a notice. General customer-support messages should continue to use [email protected].

Information we collect and use
We collect the information you provide when you create an account, contact us, upload artwork, or place an order. This can include your name, email address, shipping address, order details, photos, personalization text, and account information. We also receive basic device, browser, security, and website-activity information when you use the site. We use this information to operate the site, process and deliver orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud, maintain security, measure site and advertising performance when permitted, and keep business and transaction records.
Stripe processes payment-card information. We also use service providers for hosting, email, shipping, security, and customer-requested photo processing. They receive information needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the site, customers, or our rights.
Gift assistant and saved chats
If you use the AI-assisted gift helper, we may send your question and a limited amount of recent conversation context to OpenAI to draft a response from our approved business information. The assistant is not connected to customer orders, accounts, payments, or uploaded artwork. Do not enter order numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, passwords, private photos, or other sensitive information in the assistant. We use best-effort masking before provider processing, but automated masking may not catch everything. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the account opts in, and its standard abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days.
The ordinary gift helper works without saving a website transcript. If you choose to save the chat or ask for a workshop representative, the site explains the retention choice first. A saved website chat may be retained for up to 30 days, can be deleted from the same browser, and can be deleted sooner by the owner. We use saved chats to respond to the request, operate the support service, and review questions the assistant could not answer. Customer messages do not automatically change or publish answers.
Browser storage and tracking
OpenAI advertising measurement - updated October 24, 2026: you can separately choose OpenAI (ChatGPT ads) for measuring public page visits and matching paid purchases to ad clicks. All earlier optional choices, including purchase-only OpenAI choices, require renewal under this notice. After your OpenAI choice is confirmed, public pages can send a hidden image request containing the pixel identifier, a page-view event, a random event identifier and our public site origin; OpenAI also receives your IP address and browser information through that request. If a public landing-page address contains an OpenAI ad-click reference (oppref), we read it only after this permission and save it in the secure, host-only, HttpOnly first-party cookie __Host-cgbn_openai_click for up to 7 days. The signed cookie is bound to that particular consent choice; it is not copied into orders or our database. Our server can attach the unchanged reference to a freshly confirmed paid purchase only if it was captured before payment and you still consent. The purchase also contains the paid total in minor currency units, currency and a random duplicate-prevention event ID, together with standard event name, payment time and our fixed confirmation-page address. A purchase without a valid reference can still be reported after consent, but we cannot certify its ad attribution. We do not forward your IP address or browser information in that server purchase payload. No names, emails, addresses, photos, personalization, actual order numbers, payment IDs, browser identifiers or customer-matching fields are sent. We do not load OpenAI's advertising JavaScript SDK, scan forms or perform automatic customer matching. We do not replay old purchases or wait for a later opt-in. Third-party page-view requests are excluded from checkout, account, order, tracking and staff pages; confirmation uses only a first-party request after payment proof is verified and removed from the address bar. Rejecting, withdrawing, Global Privacy Control, expired receipts or failed consent lookups keep measurement off. Changing choices clears the click cookie and invalidates earlier references; withdrawal stops future requests but cannot recall a request already sent. Use Cookies in the footer or Privacy choices here to change any optional purpose. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for its data use. The versioned consent receipt lasts up to 180 days as described below.
We use browser storage that is necessary to operate features such as the cart, account, checkout, security, and site preferences. With your permission, we may also use Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measurement to understand site visits and interactions and whether advertisements lead to completed purchases. Google may receive device and browser information, website interactions, approximate location, and limited purchase information such as an order identifier, value, and currency. Google Analytics and Google Ads may store browser identifiers used for site and advertising measurement after you accept optional cookies. Optional Google measurement remains off unless you accept it. Meta measurement also remains off unless you accept the updated choice that names Meta; an earlier Google-only choice does not authorize Meta. For Meta, our server sends only the event type, time, a random or opaque event identifier, a public origin and page path, a generic product identifier, the verified purchase amount and currency, your IP address and browser type, and optional browser and advertising-click identifiers. We do not install Meta's browser SDK or automatically capture forms. After consent, Meta browser and click identifiers may be stored for up to 90 days; the versioned choice lasts up to 180 days. Withdrawal clears our Meta identifiers and stops future measurement requests; already-shared events are not automatically withdrawn. We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping optional Google and Meta measurement off even if an earlier cookie choice was accepted. Measurement URLs normally contain only our origin and public page path. With Google Ads permission, bounded Google ad-click identifiers (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) may also be included. With Analytics permission, Google may receive the canonical origin of a known referring search or social provider, never its page path, search details or an arbitrary referring domain. Other query parameters, fragments and private-page referrers are omitted. The updated disclosure requires a fresh optional-cookie choice; earlier grants do not authorize this change. We keep personalized advertising, remarketing, Google signals, and enhanced conversions off in Google, do not create Meta remarketing audiences, and do not send names, email addresses, shipping addresses, payment-card numbers, or uploaded artwork to Google or Meta. You can reject optional measurement or change your choice below at any time, and the site works without it. See Meta's Privacy Policy for its data use. We do not sell personal information for money. If we add another advertising provider or materially change these uses, we will update this policy and the on-site privacy choice before enabling it.
You can separately choose Google Analytics for understanding site use, Google Ads for measuring ad results, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for measuring ad results. Each optional purpose starts off. Earlier all-or-nothing choices do not authorize this updated version. Use Cookies in the footer or Privacy choices on this page to revisit your settings, including rejecting all optional tracking. Essential storage remembers your cart, security and privacy settings. A secure first-party receipt and a browser preference last up to 180 days. Versioned consent records include the optional-cookie wording shown, purposes selected, method and timestamp, without customer names, order details, photos or IP addresses in those records. These records expire after 180 days, are excluded immediately at expiry, and are removed when another choice is saved. Rejecting or withdrawing stops our future optional events and removes our optional measurement cookies. When changing an already-enabled Google choice, the page reloads to remove the loaded Google library. Events already sent cannot be recalled by the banner. Contact us about earlier shared information or other privacy requests.
With an optional measurement purpose enabled, we also save the public landing path, referring website domain and campaign labels with your order to understand how customers find us. Permitted Google or Meta click identifiers are held in this tab for up to 24 hours; only their presence, not full values, is added to the order. Tab data is cleared when you withdraw permission. Historical source information stays with the order record under our retention policy. We do not save full referrer URLs, full query strings or fragments in this record, or send this attribution record to advertising providers.
Stripe may use cookies and browser signals for payment, fraud prevention, security, and its Link service. See Stripe's privacy information. See Google's business data responsibility information for information about Google advertising services. Because browsers do not use one consistent Do Not Track standard, this site does not respond differently when it receives that signal.
Photos, retention, and security
We use uploaded artwork to prepare, print, deliver, and support orders. If you request a photo edit, the image may be sent to a photo-processing provider. We do not use customer artwork in marketing without permission. An upload that is not attached to an order is scheduled for deletion after 14 days. Uploaded photos and prepared print files attached to an order are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the order ships. Account, order, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal records may be retained longer when reasonably needed or required by law. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
